This policy explains what Shieldroof Services collects when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.
What we collect
When you submit a form, call, text or email us we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address, property type, the nature of the work you need and any details you write in the message field.
Our website also records standard technical information — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type — and campaign parameters (such as utm_source or gclid) when you arrive from an advertisement.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, schedule and perform a property assessment, prepare a written proposal, carry out work you authorise, meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed California contractor, and improve how the website performs.
How we use your property information
Photographs, aerial imagery and condition findings from an assessment are collected to produce your report. We do not publish images of your property, and we do not identify your address in marketing, without your written permission.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the people needed to deliver your project: our crews and project managers, the material suppliers and inspectors involved in your scope, and service providers who host this website or deliver our form submissions and email. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks for their own use.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Project records, contracts and warranty documentation are retained for as long as California contracting and warranty obligations require.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, to delete, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial information through the website forms.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
