The content here is provided for general information. Roof conditions, costs, timelines and material performance vary by property, and nothing on this website constitutes a quotation, a warranty, or a professional recommendation for your specific roof. Only a written proposal issued by Shieldroof Services after an assessment does that.
Assessments and proposals
A property assessment documents the condition of the roof as observed on the day of the visit, including areas visible by aerial survey. It is not a warranty of future performance, a structural engineering report, or a guarantee that concealed conditions do not exist. Proposals are valid for the period stated on the document, and the scope, price, exclusions and warranty terms are those written in it.
Contracting and cancellation
Work is performed under a written contract that complies with California law, including the notice of cancellation rights required by the Contractors State License Board. Payment terms, change orders and warranty coverage are set out in that contract.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, logos, marks and page designs on this website belong to Shieldroof Services or its licensors. The names Shieldroof Property Assessment and Shieldroof Property Report identify our services. You may not reproduce this material commercially without permission.

Where we link to other sites — a licensing board, a review platform, a manufacturer — we do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shieldroof Services is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the California contractor licensing scheme.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Diego County have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to this website.
